At Auclair's our focus is on developing the connection between horse and rider. The riding experience becomes more and more rewarding as you progress. The ranch has a 72' x 120' indoor sand riding arena with stalls along one side. Each stall is 10' x 10' with a personal hook for leads and bridles. We also have a 100' x 200' outdoor arena nearby for riding and gymkhanas.
Along with offering fun lessons, Auclairs has some boarding availability for Western and English riders. It includes group or private turn-out, feeding, blanketing, etc. Riding areas for boarders include the arenas, outskirts of pastures, and an extensive network of trails for comfortable riders.
Geneva Wilk is the English Instructor currently running Auclair's and whose had over 15 years of riding experience in dressage, western (both pleasure & speed events), hunters, equitation, and with natural horsemanship.
Heather Auclair owns Auclair's Riding Ranch as the 5th generation to the Auclair family. Her background is in the Western discipline, but she opened the barn to English as well when Geneva leased the facility. Heather is also an Elementary Ed certified teacher.
She specializes in building confidence for all levels and welcomes everyone to the life of horses. Geneva has also shown from the local to competitive level and can work with rider and horse to allow others to do the same!
